Free Fire welcomes players to dive into Undersea Mystery, the game’s first-ever ocean-themed campaign! As part of the latest update, the game will be transformed with refreshed gameplay mechanics, immersive new environments, and limited-time rewards inspired by underwater exploration.
Alongside the event, the update also introduces several gameplay additions, including the debut of new character Ray and a new Login Streak system featuring mascot Pyro, offering players new combat strategies and progression rewards.
A New Ocean-Themed Adventure Emerges
As part of the Undersea Mystery event starting April 8, players can experience new ways to explore and compete.
In Battle Royale matches, players will encounter a whirlpool at the large dam, which serves as an entry point to the newly discovered Undersea Realm. Randomly spawned Fishing Ponds will also appear across maps, offering extra buffs and collectible rewards. What’s more, the traditional Blue Zone will be replaced by the visually striking Hydro Zone, with high-tier equipment hidden within submerged areas for players to discover. Additional highlights include Bubble Airdrops and the newly reskinned Whale Airplane.
Besides a dedicated Undersea Realm map, Clash Squad will introduce themed spawn points and Cyber Airdrops. A new event-exclusive Water Gun (Hydro Blaster), featuring a unique firing style, will be available in both Battle Royale and Clash Squad.
Through a special event interface, players can complete tasks, earn tokens, summon sea creatures, and unlock fish species — with rare encounters generating bonus tokens over time. Players who complete enough sea creature summonings will unlock the campaign’s grand reward — a themed emote.
Ocean-Inspired Collectibles and Premium Rewards
Undersea Mystery brings a wave of ocean-themed cosmetics designed with fluid-material finishes and sea creature-inspired details.
Players can earn rewards including a dolphin headwear, amphibian car skin, pan, and more. Premium highlights include two character bundles — the Undersea Ripples male bundle and the Undersea Beauty female bundle equipped with innovative ripple movement effects, the guardian-themed Katana - Undersea Echo, a sea beast-inspired M1014 with custom elimination effects, and a five-stage skydive animation featuring mid-air swim motions and ripple traits.

Free Fire’s latest update also launches new gameplay features and character updates designed to deepen combat strategy and reward consistent player engagement.
New Character: Ray
Ray is a combat-focused character designed for players who thrive in intense battles. His skill marks the first enemy he hits and creates a temporary link between them. If the marked enemy’s HP is reduced to a certain threshold by Ray, the enemy is immediately knocked down. Ray will then recover HP and his skill cooldown will be reset.
New Login Streak System
The update also introduces a new Login Streak System, featuring Free Fire mascot Pyro as a symbol of player activity. Daily logins not only build login streak progress, but also activate Pyro, progressively unlocking new appearances and accessories. Maintaining a consistent streak increases the opportunity to earn exclusive high-tier rewards.
